Something to use this week
CBT and solution-focused work, so sessions end with a concrete step rather than a general principle.
Coursework at Humber, early shifts in north Etobicoke, a day shaped by other people's timetables. Practical ADHD support for adults in Etobicoke, online.
If the pattern goes back further than the to-do list, Ghazal Sheikhtaheri, RP (Qualifying), works in Schema Therapy (depth-oriented and unhurried).
Some people want tools for this week. Others want to trace a pattern to its root. Both are good therapy. Ghazal is currently booking by waitlist (3–4 weeks).
Most adults arrive at this conversation having already tried harder. Harder is not the missing ingredient, and it has usually been the only advice on offer for twenty years. What is actually difficult is a specific set of things: starting, sequencing, holding information in place while you use it, and switching between one mode and the next.
(This page is general information, not an assessment. A Registered Psychotherapist does not diagnose ADHD or prescribe medication, and you do not need a diagnosis for this work to be useful.)
Tina works in cognitive behavioural and solution-focused approaches, which in practice means sessions are structured without being rigid. You name what you want to be different, the two of you work out what is holding it in place, and you leave with something to try before the next one.
The systems are deliberately small. An elaborate one built on a good week will not survive a bad one, and every abandoned system becomes further evidence for a story you have been telling yourself for a long time. That story is the second half of the work, and for most people it turns out to be the half that was costing more.

Tina Abadi, RP, CRPO #13777, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Including the part of this that was never only about focus. Sessions in either language.
No commute and no waiting room, so the trip to an appointment is one less thing to manage.
Insurance receipts provided after every session. Tina is a fully Registered Psychotherapist, so psychotherapy with an RP is commonly covered; please confirm the details with your insurer.

Humber Polytechnic's North Campus in north Etobicoke and its Lakeshore Campus in New Toronto bring a large student body into the district, and plenty of those students are adults: people returning to school after years of work, changing careers, or studying while holding down a job. The University of Guelph-Humber shares the North Campus. Self-directed study is where attention difficulties tend to show themselves. Lectures are manageable; it is the unstructured hours between them, the reading, the long assignment, the application due at midnight, where things quietly slide. Line 6 Finch West has run to the North Campus since December 2025, and a new commute is a good moment to build a routine on purpose rather than improvising one.
The rest of the working week has its own demands. Warehousing, logistics and manufacturing jobs in north Etobicoke's employment lands often mean early starts and changing shifts, and ADHD leans heavily on sleep and routine, the two things a moving schedule takes away first. Downtown commuters face the opposite problem: long days shaped by meetings, messages and other people's priorities, where the task you meant to start at nine is still waiting at four. Either way, years of falling behind tend to leave a harsh inner commentary that makes every new system harder to keep.
Work with Tina Abadi, RP, is cognitive behavioural and practical: study and work systems built around how your attention actually behaves, sleep and transitions first for people on shifts, and direct attention to the self-criticism that has built up, which for many adults turns out to be the heavier half. Early sessions usually look at where the day actually breaks, most often at a transition, and put one small, repeatable step there before building anything larger. Sessions are online across Ontario, in English or Farsi, so there is no extra trip on top of a class timetable or a rota.
