What if I can barely find the energy to start?
That's one of the hardest parts of depression, and it's understandable. A free 15-minute consultation is a very low-pressure first step — just a short conversation, from wherever you are.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. As a Registered Psychotherapist, Ghazal provides talk therapy and does not prescribe medication or diagnose medical conditions. If medication is something you're considering, your family physician can help; therapy often works well alongside it.
What should I do if I'm in crisis?
If you feel you may be in danger or are having thoughts of harming yourself, contact Crisis Services Canada at 1-833-456-4566 (available 24/7) or call 911. Therapy is for ongoing support, not emergencies.
Can we work in Farsi?
Yes — sessions are available in Farsi (فارسی), English, or both.
What does it cost?
Individual sessions are $180 for 60 minutes, with a free 15-minute consultation to begin. Receipts are provided for insurance; many extended health plans cover Registered Psychotherapist services.
