Who I Help

You don't have to carry this alone.

Whatever brought you here, it deserves to be taken seriously — including by you.

I.

Trauma & Past Wounds

Something happened — maybe long ago — and it still shapes how you feel about yourself, how you react, how you trust. Schema therapy offers a compassionate, evidence-based path to understanding where these patterns came from and gently rewriting them.

In our work we don’t just manage symptoms — we trace them to their roots: where the old wounds began, how they taught you to protect yourself, and what it would take to feel safe enough to stop. The pace is always yours.

II.

Anxiety & Depression

The racing thoughts that won't quiet down, or the heaviness that makes ordinary days feel like wading through water. These are among the most common reasons people reach out — and among the most responsive to therapy.

Sessions work on two levels at once: practical tools that quiet the noise this week, and the deeper patterns that keep regenerating it. The goal isn’t to never worry again — it’s to stop being ruled by it.

III.

Relationships & Couples

You love each other, but something keeps breaking down — the same argument on repeat, a growing distance, trust that's been damaged. Therapy creates space to hear and be heard — and to build something more honest.

I work with both partners as a team against the pattern — never as a referee between opponents. We slow the argument down until you can both see what is actually happening underneath it, often for the first time.

IV.

Workplace Stress & Burnout

You've been pushing through for so long that you've forgotten what it felt like not to be exhausted. Burnout, imposter syndrome, conflict with colleagues — these are real, valid struggles worth taking seriously.

We look at what the exhaustion has been protecting you from noticing — the boundaries that were never allowed, the self-worth that got tied to output. Recovery isn’t a weekend off; it’s renegotiating the terms.

V.

Newcomers & Immigration

Immigration is celebrated as a new beginning — and it is. But it is also, quietly, a profound loss. I understand this journey personally. Sessions are available in Farsi, so you never have to translate your inner world.

This is work I know from the inside. We make room for both truths at once: gratitude for the new life, and grief for everything it cost — in Farsi or English, whichever lets you think without translating.

VI.

Self-Worth & Identity

The inner critic that narrates your every move. The sense of never being quite enough, no matter what you achieve. Therapy can help you trace that voice to its origin — and learn to answer it differently.

The inner critic learned its script somewhere. In schema therapy we find out where — and then we practice, gently and concretely, answering it with a different voice: your own.

These are starting points, not boxes. If what you're carrying isn't named here, it still belongs in the room.

If any of this sounds like you, I'd be happy to discuss how I can help.
